Terms, Participant Agreement & Disclaimer

By attending a Hold The Line Projects meeting, participating in a one-to-one mentoring session, purchasing an online programme or coaching service, attending an event, or using any Hold The Line Projects services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Our Purpose

Hold The Line Projects exists to help ordinary men become more capable, connected and confident through accountability, conversation, practical guidance and shared life experience.

Our aim is to encourage personal responsibility, resilience, purpose and positive action.

2. Nature of Our Services

Hold The Line Projects provides:

• Community meetings

• One-to-one mentoring

• Online mentoring programmes

• Accountability programmes

• Educational content

• Speaking events

• Workshops

• Personal development resources

All advice, guidance and discussions are based upon lived experience, personal development and practical accountability.

They are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal or financial advice.

3. We Are Not Healthcare Professionals

Hold The Line Projects is not:

• A medical service

• A counselling service

• A psychotherapy service

• A psychiatric service

• A crisis intervention service

• A healthcare provider

• A rehabilitation service

No organiser, volunteer or mentor acts as your therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor or healthcare professional unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Nothing discussed should replace advice from qualified professionals.

4. Personal Responsibility

Personal growth requires personal responsibility.

By participating in Hold The Line Projects, you acknowledge that all decisions, actions and changes you make remain entirely your own.

You accept full responsibility for:

• your physical health

• your mental wellbeing

• your finances

• your employment

• your relationships

• your lifestyle choices

• your personal decisions

Hold The Line Projects provides guidance, accountability and encouragement.

We cannot make decisions on your behalf.

5. No Guaranteed Results

Every individual is different.

Because of this, Hold The Line Projects cannot and does not guarantee:

• personal transformation

• improved mental health

• improved relationships

• career success

• financial success

• physical health improvements

• business success

• or any specific outcome.

Results depend upon your own effort, consistency, honesty and willingness to take responsibility for your life.

6. Voluntary Participation

Participation is entirely voluntary.

You are free to:

• leave a meeting

• end a mentoring session

• stop an online programme

• decline to answer questions

• withdraw from Hold The Line Projects at any time.

No one is required to share anything they do not wish to discuss.

7. Mental Health & Crisis Support

Hold The Line Projects is not an emergency support service.

If you are experiencing:

• thoughts of suicide

• thoughts of self-harm

• thoughts of harming others

• severe depression

• psychosis

• a mental health crisis

• or believe you or another person is in immediate danger,

you must seek immediate professional help.

This may include contacting:

• NHS 111 (Mental Health Option where available)

• Your GP

• Your Local Mental Health Crisis Team

• Samaritans (116 123)

• Emergency Services (999)

Hold The Line Projects should never be used instead of emergency or clinical mental health support.

8. Safeguarding

Whilst Hold The Line Projects respects privacy and confidentiality, we cannot promise confidentiality where we reasonably believe someone may be at immediate risk of serious harm.

If we believe there is a genuine and immediate risk to your safety or the safety of another person, we reserve the right to contact emergency services or appropriate authorities where necessary.

Protecting life will always take priority over confidentiality.

9. Medical Conditions

If you suffer from a diagnosed mental health condition or any medical condition which may affect your participation, you are responsible for seeking appropriate advice from your healthcare provider.

Participation in Hold The Line Projects should never replace treatment recommended by qualified professionals.

10. Between Sessions

Messages, emails and social media communications are not monitored as emergency support services.

Response times cannot be guaranteed.

If your situation is urgent, contact the appropriate emergency services.

11. Confidentiality

We encourage every participant to respect the privacy of others.

What is shared within Hold The Line Projects should remain confidential wherever reasonably possible.

However, Hold The Line Projects cannot guarantee that other attendees will maintain confidentiality.

Participants remain responsible for the information they choose to disclose.

12. Respect

Everyone attending Hold The Line Projects deserves dignity and respect.

Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated.

Hold The Line Projects reserves the right to refuse or terminate participation where behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hold The Line Projects, its owner, volunteers, mentors, employees, representatives and affiliates accept no responsibility or liability for:

• decisions made by participants

• actions taken following meetings or mentoring

• personal losses

• relationship breakdowns

• employment decisions

• financial decisions

• business decisions

• injuries

• emotional distress

• indirect or consequential losses arising from participation.

Nothing within these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under the laws of England and Wales.

14. Family & Third-Party Claims

Hold The Line Projects provides voluntary mentoring, accountability and community support to individuals who choose to participate.

Participation is based upon each individual’s own free will and personal responsibility.

By participating, you acknowledge that Hold The Line Projects cannot control, predict or accept responsibility for the independent actions, decisions or circumstances of any participant outside of our services.

Accordingly, Hold The Line Projects shall not be liable for claims brought by family members, partners, employers or other third parties arising from an individual’s personal decisions or actions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. Online Content

All videos, programmes, downloads, written material and educational resources are intended for educational and motivational purposes only.

They should not be interpreted as medical, psychological or therapeutic advice.

16. Intellectual Property

All Hold The Line Projects materials, branding, logos, written content, videos, programmes and resources remain the intellectual property of Hold The Line Projects unless otherwise stated.

They may not be reproduced, copied or distributed without written permission.

17. Acceptance

By attending a meeting, booking mentoring, purchasing any programme or using Hold The Line Projects services, you confirm that:

• You understand what Hold The Line Projects is.

• You understand what Hold The Line Projects is not.

• You accept responsibility for your own decisions and actions.

• You understand that Hold The Line Projects is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

• You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.


Privacy Policy

Hold The Line Projects respects your privacy.

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through contact forms, event reminders, newsletter sign-ups, or direct communication.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information collected is used solely to communicate with you regarding Hold The Line events, updates, and services.
